AmazonBuild, Ship, Shape is Amazon's 2026 global developer hackathon, hosted on Devpost. For the first time, all four of Amazon's core device and service platforms, Fire TV, Alexa+, Ring, and Bee, are combined in a single competition. Developers worldwide, including India, build apps across one primary track and can additionally enter stackable mini challenges. The total prize pool is $138,000 in cash and AWS credits. First place track winners on Fire TV and Alexa+ receive $25,000 plus AWS credits and a meeting with the Amazon Developer team. The hackathon is fully online and free to enter, with submissions closing October 23, 2026. You choose one primary track (each platform is its own track) and can additionally enter the AWS Builder and Open Source mini challenges if your project qualifies, so a single strong project can win across multiple categories. Submissions need a public GitHub repository, a working demo video under three minutes, a text description, and product feedback on the Amazon tools used.
Open to developers who are above the legal age of majority in their country of residence. Individual or team participation with no formal team size cap. Open worldwide, including India (standard exclusions apply).
